0.45mm Grey PU Coated Fiberglass Fabric Cloth For Welding Fire Blanket

PU(Polyurethane) coated fiberglass cloth is a woven fiber glass fabric which is coated with a specially compounded grey polyurethane coating on one side or both two sides. Area weight of this PU coated glass fabric is 460g/m2. Basic fabric is satin(break twill/cross twill) weave 3732 fabric. It is a 430g/m2 fabric, thickness of it is 0.43mm thick. When coated with 15g/m2 grey PU coating on its both sides, the totally weight per unit area will be 460g/m2, and totally thickness will be 0.45mm.

One special feature of PU coated fiberglass cloth is, usually common coated fiberglass fabric like silicone or PTFE coated fabric can be used below 260℃. While PU coating can resist instantaneous temperature up to 1100 degree Celsius. So it is ideal materials for welding sparks/spatter protective products, great for fire or welding blanket/curtain production. PU coated fiberglass fabric also have some characteristic such as anti chemical agent, abrasion corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, durablity, no itchy feeling, rich colors.

3. Resist most acids, chemical corrosion resistance
4. Waterproofing (also washable)
5. Heat resistant, withstand a high temperature below 260℃ continuously

Blended fibers glass fabric are made from a mixture of two or more different types of fibers, which have mix properties and usually more durable. However coated fiberglass products can be improved or sized glass fibers. There are Silicone/PVC/PTFE/PU coatings that offers to meet more different special needs.
