Glass fiber is divided into different grades according to
composition, nature and use. E-glass fiber is most commonly used
and is widely used in electrical insulation materials. C-Glass is
more chemically resistant than E-Glass, used in battery separators,
chemical filters.
Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric has excellent temperature
resistance, operating temperature can be from 260℃ to -50℃. Due to
its unique high temperature resistance, excellent weathering
resistance, soft and toughness, it is widely used in
industries,such as chemical, aerospace, fire prevention, thermal
insulation, large-scale power generation equipment etc.
Silicone glass fiber is woven from different weaving methods,
mainly in plain, satin and twill. UPSC-8732D160 is 4HS
(four-harness satin), in this weave patter there is a three by one
interlacing, where a fill yarn floats over three warp yarns and
under one.The 4HS is more pliable than the plain weave and easier
to conform to curved surface typical in reinforced plastics.
