of High Silica Cloths. The silica cloth contains over 96% silicone
dioxide.
With the ability to withstand continuous temperature of 900℃ and
most significantly, the long period service of 1400℃, the silica
cloth is highly heat resistant. It also performs an outstanding
capability of high strength, easy processing, thermal insulation
and ablation resistance. High silica cloth has been made to be
suitable for rocket and missile manufacturing in the aerospace
industries.
Typically, silica cloth can be produced at width of 92cm,100cm and
105cm, roll length at 50meters. UPH-860-100 is a heavy weight
fiberglass cloth weaved by 8HS, and weight at 650g/m2, so the
fabric is smooth, shiny and soft, meantime it is high strength and
abrasion resistance because of the fiberglass yarn.
